Dear Backcountry Enthusiast,
Thank you for your interest in our Avalanche and Backcountry Ski programs.
If you want to boost your understanding of avalanche hazards and your effective response
to avy burials - or if you want to build your skills for exciting backcountry skiing or snowboarding,
please consider joining these programs. These courses could save your life.
- Avalanche Level 1: Ready to step out of bounds and into the backcountry?
In this three-day course, you will learn what to look for in the snow pack, how to test stability, how to
read terrain and avoid danger zones, and how to rescue yourself and partners if caught in an avalanche.
- Avalanche Level 2: Do you want to advance your career in the outdoor industry?
This course is designed for those who have an interest in expanding their knowledge and understanding of snow
stability and snow stability factors. It is ideal for snow safety and guiding professionals, people interested in these
and related careers, and recreational practitioners who are looking for advanced knowledge and skills.
- Backcountry Ski Courses, Ascents, and Tours: Tired of lift lines and crowded groomers?
Join us in the backcountry! We run a variety of backcountry ski programs for all skill levels in Washington State, Colorado, and California.
Whether this will be your first step out-of-bounds, or you're a seasoned backcountry veteran, we have a program to meet your goals and interests.
Thank you again for your interest in our Avalanche and Backcountry Ski programs. We sincerely hope that we get the opportunity to
