American Alpine Institute Operates in Partnership with Government Land Managers

The Institute is an authorized permittee of the National Park Service in Denali, Wrangell-St. Elias, North Cascades, Mount Rainier, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and Joshua Tree National Parks. It is an authorized permittee of the United States Forest Service in Inyo, Mount Baker-Snoqualmie, Okanogan, Wenatchee, Gifford Pinchot, and Uncompahgre National Forests; and of the United States Bureau of Land Management in Red Rock Canyon National Recreation Area. In Canada the Institute is an authorized permittee of Stawamus Chief, Murrin, and Bugaboo Provincial Parks.
